The first day, we woke to a beatuful day an pleasant temperatures. Hovering
around 280C, and with some cloud covers. Perfect.

To the left, the room was clean and very spacious with a
nice double bed. To the right, the pool was clean, clear and
small. |

Waiting for the briefing of Ving, our travel agency at
Farmer's House In the Gardens. And Greek salads were great.
After the briefing, waiting for a taxi that literally took
us for a ride and a rip-off. |

After the briefing, it was time for a dip in the pool.
And thereafter, time for a beer bought on the plane. Five litres of prime
German beer, Holstein. |

After some hassle, the beer finally decided to make a show,
and it was worth waiting for, smooth and not bitter at all. The pine to
the West from our balcony. Nice contrast. |

Just around the corner for the hotel lay a nice restaurant,
Saluantes where we had our first mousaka meal. Filling and good tasting.

And the sun is down over a very pleasant first day of our
stay at Crete. |

The next day, we spent
on the beach and visited our local Internet café.
