Summing it all up.

The first day went to settle in and visiting Robari Old Folks home i Sommerset West.

To the left, the housing girl at the information center. After 5 calls, I got a place at Wedderwill Country Estate, 17 West Ridge in Somerset West opposite the Sir Lowry's Pass. Tel +27 21 8581 607. You find this lovely place at

www.capecountryliving.co.za

To the right. Off to Avis to get a car. ZAR 254,-  a day for 30 days.

On the open N2 highway towards the West or Sommerset West.

Ina, a very helpful manager in charge of the guesthouse.

Here it is in all it's beauty. Kevin is the guy that build it. And he has 7 more of them, including his two homes.

The view around the house.

View towards Sir Lowry's pass.

And the wooden landscaped around the house. Martin was the only guest for two nights and got exceptionally service.

Another view of the mountains.

And the full name of the house Cape Country Living Guesthouse, Self catering and B&B.

The opposite mountains was very impressive.

The it was time to do some shopping in Somerset West. This is the big fat mama selling biltong, a local delicatessen of dried meat. Lovely with beer.

And this is Martin's rental, a light blue WW Polo.

And beers are needed. And lots of it !

Martin helps carrying as well.

And the mountains are all around.

The stone saying were you are. West Ridge.

Firs braai (barbeque) in SA this time.

Fire is always fun.

And a big tummy needs beers to be maintained.

Sasha, the local watchdog. She is a Belgian Shepard.

Chris, friends of Ina, babysitting Martin and Sasha.

Red hot coals for the food.

And after it all, a lovely sunset over the mountains.

Next day, Thursday 23rd, Martin Took another trip to Sommerset West. Still no gun.
