Martin had a nice drive with Bankk to a dried out waterfall. Nice people there.

Lovely Sunday with open pool at 0700 and one swimmer.

Martin is getting ready.

In the afternoon, we went to Tard Moon Waterfall.

Since it is the dry season, there was little water in the river.

To children playing in the river.

The river down stream, just a trickle of what it is in the rainy season.

Ny is the lovely girlfriend of Bankk.

Martin with a local made beer glass.

A very friendly local, Saeng sold Martin some beers.

Saeng's sister and niece. Saeng brought his whole family for a pick nick and birthday party.

Saeng offered a Laotian delicacy that Martin couldn't eat. It is called

Balut also spelled as balot) is a developing bird embryo (usually a duck) that is boiled and eaten from the shell. It originated from and is commonly sold as street food in the Philippines.

Often served with beer, balut is popular in Southeast Asian countries, such as Laos (khai look; Lao: ໄຂ່ລູກ), Sambodia (pong tia koun; Khmer: ពងទាកូន), Thailand (Khai Khao; Thai: ไข่ข้าว) and Vietnam (Vietnamese: trứng vịt lộn or hột vịt lộn).

Saeng's sister and baby.

The rocky road.

Another view of the waterfall. See the video.

Ny and Bankk having some fun together.

More views.

Martin and Bankk.

The rocky road up to the main road.

One of the many houses built that is standing empty.

Bankk got sick from the Balut and needed a bucket to puke in.

Martin and his ever present beer. A nice end to a nice trip.

On Monday March 11th, it was time for a visit to Sunan's shooting range.
