Summing it all up.

This Thursday, Martin spent most of his time next to the pool and visited Shaida shelter for orphaned children.

To the left, the Madonna in the window of the local cab driver that took Martin to buy a ticket for a trip to the Dudhsagars waterfalls, the second tallest waterfall in India. Martin is off on Dec 7th.

To the right, the popular ATMs used by money conscious tourists in Goa. Cheapest way to get your cash to the best rates available.

Vivian Thomas from Wales in the UK showing off is big, jolly tummy and this Honda 1500 cc bike. You can contact him via his daughter Kelly at the email address above.

Martin had a lovely lunch at the hotel, only fresh fruit. Recommendable.

Martin and Flemming from Denmark sharing a beer.

Flemming and his love, an Enfield classic at 350 cc, even though the cover says 500. Flemming loves his bike.

Usha, the local bar manageress. Few ladies doing any public work in Inda.

Martin decided to donate some of his money to a charity of some kind. He found it in the Al Shaddai street rescue. They pick up orphans from the streets of Goa. Children abandoned by their parents.

Joseph, the local friendly receptionist that explained it all.

The entrance of the foundation, Joseph posing in the entrance.

On the way to one of the schools, this was a nice house.

Grey house. Due to all the rain in the monsoon season, the houses get discolored by all the rain.

The entrance to the school. The Shanti Niketan School a center for learning or as their motto is. Hope Through Education.

A local teacher at the blackboard, not latest model, but good enough.

Bosco with a lovely smile and a lovely beard. He showed martin around. Most friendly guy. Martin said, I'll be back. You can reach him on the phone as well on +91 832 651 3296.

The playground outside the school. Also donated.

The entrance of the school. Not much to talk about, but their computers were up to date, but too few. Martin is willing to help.

Another fascinating grey building due to all the rain during the monsoon rain from Apr to September every year.

The old houses left over from the Portuguese are rejuvenated and put to god use.

In India, cows are sacred and the right of way in public streets.

Martin had a beer on the way back to the hotel, but got ripped off by this local crook of a bartender. Martin just laughed.

Indian women look so lovely in their saris. Being poor or rich, they all look attractive and well dressed.

The first sunset Martin saw on the way back to the hotel from a very grateful and satisfying trip.

The next day, Friday Dec 7, Martin visited the Dudhsagars waterfalls for the day.
