We visited The National Museum and the Miniature Replicas of Angkor Wat and the Paper Tiger in the evening.

Martin's favorite view in the morning, the pool.

Time for breakfast, the salad section.

The soup section.

Martin at the breakfast table. The breakfast is really good here.

The fruit and juice section. Amazingly, there are no orange juice, ,but lovely pineapple and mango juice.

The bread and cookie section.

Lai at the hot section with Western and Asian food.

The hot section from the other end.

Lai is waiting for La to pick us up.

Lai with the old rickshaw type of transport.

The National Museum of Cambodia.

The entrance hall.

They have a pool, not sure for what.

bMartin and a grumpy statue.

Lai and her stone Buddha.

La is waiting for us outside the museum with his car.

La and his portable bar.

La is getting direction to the Miniature Replica Museum. It was difficult to find.

We got lost as in this dead end road.

Finally there at the Miniature Replica Museum.

The entrance was impressive with the omnipresent Buddha.

Here are the miniature.

Martin with the artist himself, roughly Martin's age.

Another details of the miniatures.

More details.

The artist and his creations.

More details.
The artist and his masterpiece, of course a big Buddha.

La is waiting for us outside the building.

The artist's official certificate for his work. His name is Dy Proeurng.

Dy outside his establishment.

It is impressive.

Here is a copy of his work sheet. The details are staggering.

Dy, Buddha and Lai.

Another sketch Dy is using for his stonework.

Dy and Lai  among his work.

Good bye to Dy. The trip was short, interesting and intense. It is recommende.

After our excursion, a trip to the Thai family in Siem Reap. Here Lai and the daughter of the house.

Proud Dad and his son.

At the table, with an Italian who didn't say much, La, Martin and Lai.

The Cambodian flag was appropriated in 1993, but unofficially used from 1949 to 1970.

In the evening, a trip to the Paper Tiger for some beers.

The fruits for sale had a large veracity.

In the evening, a quick beer before bedtime at the hotel. But the price was exorbitant, US $ 2,75 for a glass? Downtown in Siem Reap, it is 50 cents during happy hour. Not acceptable.

On Friday December 15th, it was time to visit The War Museum of Cambodia.
