Tui was great company and Martin had a pleasant day with her out shopping
swim suit and a dip in the pool at the Ambassador.

Tui and Jade, John's daughter from Liverpool.
Off to an early breakfast at 0730 at a shopping market close by. |
The breakfast being done. The Thai flag in
an back alley. |
Tui and Martin shopped a swimming suit for Tui.
Martin with his funny eyes. |
Martin and a Norwegian flag outside one of the many eating
places in Bangkok. Martin enjoying a beer. |
The busy streets of Bangkok. Back at the
Thai House Inn is lovely Tor. The name is a complete misnomer for a chick
woman. It's a Nordic name and means Who is Thundering. Ream for about Thor
(as it is written in English, but usually not Norwegian). |
Another picture of Tor. Martin and Tui at
the swimming pool. |
Tui just gotten into her new bikini. As all
Thai women, Tui is not too happy with her new swim suit. |
Poeng, the swimming pool manager at the Ambassador hotel.
Tui ready for the second dip of the day. Not too happy with the thought. |
Reluctantly, she goes into the pool.
Swimming wasn't the thing thing for Tui. |
At last in the pool, showing the
two-finger salute. Tui, like most Thai women don't like
to show their bodies in a bikini. They are very shy. But after a while, they
get the hang of it plunge into the drink. |
Tui, not to happy with the water having only 240
Centigrade. It is chilly even for Martin. Tui ties up her
beautiful black hair in a knot when swimming. |
Again, this typical
two-finger salute is very common and most Thai people don't know what it
means.
Then we had German Eisbein mit Sauerkraut, but it
was no good. Only Germans can make it right in Thailand. |
After 3000 meters of swimming, Martin slept for
two hours and Tui had her hair done. Thai women have the most beautiful
black hair any man can dream of. Tui doesn't have a
particular long hair for a Thai women. But boy it is great and smells
fantastically. |
In the entrance of the Thai House Inn, there are massage
beds. Tui and Martin had one later that night.
Then it was off to town to buy some computer goodies at one
of the biggest computer shops in the world. |
On route to Pantip Plaza there are Buddhist
temples at the side walk. Tui always stops and say a little prayer. A very
nice and caring trait of her. They have Christmas trees in
Thailand too. This is typical Thai style. |
Tui is preparing her prayers.
The incense use is but in this big bowl. |
Here is the local Buddhist temple on the side
walk. Tui is ready to do her prayers. |
She kneels like everyone else. She is a strong
believer in Buddha and Martin agrees. Buddha is a nice guy and nobody wages
wars in his name. Like the other guy in the block, the God of the Muslims,
Jews and Christians. They kill each other all the time in his name and he
just laughs. What a God. The sidewalks also doubles up as a
diner. Here are stacks. A fascinating view. |
A thoughtful Tui. A very lovely, warmhearted and
caring women with a son and daughter of 24 and 28 years old. Martin feels
very comfortable around her. Martin and Tui took a Tuc-Tuc
back to the hotel. This is him in action. If in Thailand, always try it.
Great fun. |
Back at the hotel, it was time for an hour of
Thai massage. Tui is ready as well. |
The big powerful Mama ready to break Martin
apart. It was actually very good. Not too painful, but Mama knew where the
limits were. Then off to town for a dinner and this was one
of Martin's first. An old WolksWagen minibus made into a street side bar.
Really great. |
Then off for a fish meal. They serve their beer
bottles with a rosary. Martin loved that. Happy twosome, Tui
and Martin. |
Then the CEO of Martin's favorite hotel rocked
up. Jacques from Switzerland. A very capable manager indeed.
One of the working girls in the neighborhood. There are literally thousands
of them. |
Tui is looking after Martin's all physical needs
like always having his beer topped up. Martin loves it.
Lovely Jennisa N. She is a fantastic pub hostess that really make you feel
very welcome. She is just great. |
