To the left, the building next door is taking shape. First
time Martin was there, it was just a hole in the ground. The
lovely two receptionists at the Pinto dentists, Pooja and Rosy. |
Bank of India building is coming out of the ground.
The harbor view of Panjai. |
The omnipresent iron barges shuttling between the inland and
the big ship at sea, sending its iron ore to China and Japan.
At The Coco Beach, they were preparing a nice barbeque on coconut shells. |

Well dressed Iranian women enjoying the scenery while their
Muslim husbands were indulging in illegal activities like drinking beer.
The Lunch being prepared. |
The New Look of Coconut Beach. First, Martin was disgusted,
but after a while, you have to live with it. The lady in
charge, Antoinette, had cleaned up the beach somewhat. All European react
negatively to all the filth they meet in Goa when they arrive. |
Antoinette, a Dutch, talkative bossy woman in charge of the
place. Martin settled in nicely. |
Happy he was. Lying in the sun with an
umbrella to take the worst of the scorching sun. |
Martin's view from the sun bed. The Green
boat. Martin swam accross this water for his 45 minutes swim before lunch. |
Bob, the entertainment manager and the manageress,
Antoinette. They are working buddies and lovers as well. A
combination that may work, sometimes. |
Bob is always up to a joke. Seen here sticking his tongue in
Antoinette's ear. She loves it. But they can have
professional and lovers' quarrels as well. |
Making up in the end. Bob told Martin that
only one bottle in thousand is green. This is a lucky omen for beer drinking
Martin. |
After his swim, Martin wanted local mackerel for lunch. Seen
here. A lonely crow on the beach. They are all over the
show. |
Mackerels well done. Tasty, but Martin would prefer them
without the Indian spices to taste the fish itself. Martin's
view from his sun bed. |
Hay bales for holy cows the Indians don't eat. Why not? It
is a lot of protein walking around in the streets of India. |
