To the left, palm trees outside Martin's hotel.
To the right, early morning cow having a stroll. |
Amazing tangle of roots of a big tree that is built around.
Glen Eagles, Martin's favorite pub next to the hotel. |
Y-shaped tree to the left. Someone donated this one.
Salt pans. As the water evaporates, the salt is left behind. |
Collecting salt from the pens. No smile
Suren and his two cars. The white one for longer trips. |

The dentists neighbors are coming out of the ground. See
the
pictures from January. After an unsuccessful visit to
the dentist (the tooth didn't fit properly) it was time for Coco Beach. But
Martin still suffering from his cough from Thailand, preferred to sit in the
shade with a beer. |
View from under the shade. The season is almost at end and
there were very few guest. The creek was almost dried out.
Not as
in Decmber. |
The entrance to Coco Beach. On the way back,
Martin spotted this Indian made copy of and old Willey's Jeep. Can be
imported to Norway as an vintage car. |
Kathleen house with phone number and all.
Playful kids. |
Martin with Anita to the left and Rupa to the right.
Rupa to the left and Anita with Martin's little gift to them, trolls. |
Martin with his two foster girls. The high
school that the girls eventually will attend later in life. Martin wants to
be around for that. |
The main entrance to the high school. Shore
Bar. A place to enjoy the sun set if it wasn't for some horrible head
breaking music. Really spoiled the mood. |
Kit surfer in action for all of us to see.
Far out in the horizon was the bulk carrier loading iron ore for China.
After tourism, iron ore is the biggest foreign exchange earners for Goa. |
The lovely girl on the beach with her ugly looking fighting
dog, a bull terrier. There are plenty of dogs all around.
The Indians say Live and let Die. Of natural causes. |
The first two pictures above are
taken 5 minutes apart. The last three only one minute apart. The sun sets
fast. |
Cows are sacred, but owned by some farmers that keep them
for the milk and hide. The meat is not used and there are cemeteries for
cows. The Indians always paint their houses in bright
colors. This is an example. |
Martin took a bike taxi back. He survived. Then it was time
for some computer work and a night cap with a friendly Dane called Frank. |
