Summing it all up.

Leaving at 0810, we went off to New Orleans, and at HAMPTON INN METAIRIE *** at 2730 North Causeway Boulevard, Metairie, LAat 1915. Quite a drive with a few stops on the way.

The the left, the chef at Holiday Inn hard at work. He had a long row of people queuing up for his omelets.

Early walkers going to the bus stop. They had not arrived yet.

The back seat drivers. From the left, Ellionor, Astrid and Martin.

To view towards to the back of the bus.

Bye, bye Holiday Inn in Nashville.

On the road towards New Orleans.

Astrid teaching Martin how to exercise his painful sciatic nerve.

Sumps next to the parking place.

Inside the Santa Fe steak house.

From the left, Martin, Astrid, Ann-Birgit and Sven. Another couple at the tour.

All the bottles have hats on to prevent bugs and flies to get into the opened bottles.

We are in Southern Alabama and peanuts are grown here. Here as starters. The shell you just drop on the floor.

The meal for the five of us.

Ellinor's salad was a big one.

The table was tall and Ellinor just reached above it.

Lovely Winnie and Sven.

Winnie is off to visit her brother in Italy next week. She has beautifully, clean, fresh facial traits. Great waitress.

Martin outside the Santa Fe restaurant after a lovely meal.

Martin and the bull outside the restaurant.

View from the road.

Big 20 meters long truck passing bye.

The trucks are big.

An seldom view on the road. A mobil home with the second car in tow.

Nice trees alongside the road.

The drivers Therese and Charles. The very tough drivers that took us around the country side.

The threesome had a happy time in the back seat of the bus drinking the American beer, Budweiser.

The next day, Monday Nov 10, it's off on the cruise ship, Carnival Fantasy.
