Dec 12 - Martin sick in bed and last day
The pictures below are thumbnails, meaning they are small copies of the real thing. You just click them. The weather in Norway and in Bangkok just now.

Martin basically sick in bed this day, but a visit to Kanchanaburi was done.

After Martin overate on a papaya, he got a stomach ache and kept it running for a couple of days.

But we took a trip to downtown Kanchanaburi to look at the street life, Sunday's afternoon. It was quiet and Kran and Martin ended up at a roadside café as many times before. Martin loves it.

A new twist to this one was the frozen ice at the bottom of the glass before you pour the beer.

The old man of the house with gluttonous rice backed in a bamboo pipe. It consists for coconut meat (fat), rice (starch) and sugar and is a calorie bomb with no nutritional value.

The children of Thailand are taught to work from a young age in their parents shop. Part of life.

Rows up rows of grave stones of fallen allied soldiers from WWII.

Magne and Tine, a restaurant owned by Roar Dahl. Magne and Tine are his children, 16 and 14 years old.

Next door another bar with the apt name, 1MoreBar.

Tine with typical Norwegian traits. She speaks only Thai since her father never taught her English nor Norwegian.

Mama Maem and Tine. Nice couple.

Farewell to Kanchanaburi for now.

In the evening, supper with Tuc. Nice tree stump seen here next to the table.

The next day, Monday December 12th, it was time to go to Orathai resort in Khlong Lan more than 5 hours drive and 440 kms away.
