Apr 11, visiting Orchid in Ao Railay East
The pictures below are thumbnails, meaning they are small copies of the real thing. You just click on the thumbnails, and you get the full picture in a separate window. Back to start.

Martin and Dao started out early to visit Orchid half an hour long tail boat away and a km walk. Orchid not up, as usual.

Dao arrived some 10 minutes late that morning, but the boat didn't leave till 0815.

To the right, Martin and Dao waiting the boat to fill up.

Lovely, tender, sweet little Thai woman, Dao is.

A happy couple seeing a common friend, Orchid.

On route to Ao Railay West.

Martin enjoying it at the forecastle head of the boat. He enjoys it there.

The rain has just stopped pouring down.

Fancy rock formation.

More rocks and they are fascinating to look at.

This one is really spectacular.

Happy group on route to Ao Railay East.

Another boat with tourists in the sea.

Ashore at Ao Railay East.

Walking the 500 meters across to Ao Railay West where Orchid stays.

The steep steps up to Orchids workplace, Diamond Private Resort. Looks like they have a pool.

Dao having chicken soup. It was very nice.

Orchid back in business. And late out of bed as usual.

Happy friends.

Typical Orchid.

A happy couple with happy memories from Bangkok.

New ear strips for Orchid.

Orchid at the front desk. Her shift starts at 1000 and ends at 1900 hours. Long hours.

Martin having a beer waiting for the the long tail boat to be read.

The name of the boat is Orchid's workplace, Diamond Private Resort.

The captain of the long boat.

Martin up front in the boat.

The rock next to where Martin started his 2 kms swim.

Pictures taken by Dao during the hour Martin spent in the sea swimming. Most enjoyable experience.

Close to shore, Martin got a good look at things.

As these rock formations shown here.

Martin's towel waiting to be used after his lovely sea swim.

Here closes to the cliffs closer to Ao Nang.

Martin in the open sea on his last leg before the hour is up.

Having a nice wipe, getting rid of the salt water.

Looking ahead on the way back.

Nice holiday areas along the route.

Martin enjoying life in general and the trip in particular.

The X-rated picture of Ao. Sexy man for his age.

Lovely sales lady of Big C in Krabi. Second time Martin speaks to her about a talking dictionary

Martin bought the talking dictionary for Dao. Some US $ 75,-.

Here is Dao with her dictionary. On a salary of US $ 500,- a month, she couldn't afford it. Martin can.

Dao back in action at work. From the computer screen in the background, you can see a sleepy Orchid just getting out of bed Apr 3rd at the Ambassador Hotel in Bangkok.

Then a quick lunch at Arthrit's restaurant where Martin met lovely Kik. There really are stacks of lovely women in Thailand. Martin loves to spend time with them.

The next day, Sunday April 12th, Martin left for Norway on a sad note. He really would like to have stayed for another two weeks.
