Apr 3, visiting the Norwegian embassy
The pictures below are thumbnails, meaning they are small copies of the real thing. You just click on the thumbnails, and you get the full picture in a separate window. Back to start.

Martin and Orchid went to the Norwegian embassy to get Tukta a visa to Norway.

To the left in the Sky Bar this lovely April day.

To the right, happy twosome. The waiter took the picture.

In front of the picture of the Buddha.

Waiting for the Sky train, a very effective way of transport in Bangkok with 10 mill people and 2 mill cars.

Optimistic Tukta in line for visa application.

Orchid waiting for Tukta with Martin's cap.

Finally at the end of the line. Tukta handing over her visa application to the local official.

Happy couple on their way to the Sky Train.

Sky Train arriving. Very efficient way of transport.

Was not finished in Sep 2008 and is still not finished.

Happy Orchid.

Teasing Orchid with her funny, many faceted face.

In the evening, Orchid went shopping with her cousin while Martin had an quiet evening alone in the whole Sky Bar overlooking downtown Bangkok.

Another view from the Sky Bar.

The building next door, not exactly 26 stories high.

In the evening, it was time for more jazz music. This is a waiter called smiley for short.

The vocalist with a fantastic voice singing well know songs from Cole Porter's repertoire.

Lovely Orchid giving Martin a cute smile at the end of the evening.

The next day, Saturday April 4th, it was time for some serious computer shopping.
