This day was again a pool day before going to the Benisto restaurant a few
blocks away from our lovely hotel.
To the left, the empty chairs early in the morning around
0700hours.
To the right, it's nice with these correctly
lined up chairs.
Begonias outside the hotel. In general, the use of colors
and flowers are really divine.
Caitlin having a peaceful
rest at a beach restaurant that is not opened yet.
The beach below the hotel. To cold to swim in and to windy
to tan on. The hotel pool is much better.
Having breakfast
at the hotel, there are flowers all over the place. These are artificial
though.
Just before leaving for the La Bonita restaurant we had a
relaxing beer at the poolside.
A € 5,- taxi drive to the restaurant and there we were with
Norwegian flags and all. The owner was a Greek man that lived in Sweden for
35 years and carried a Swedish passport. The waitress was Norwegian.
Recommended by Star Tour.
Excellent choice of food, both fish and meat.
And the outside was decorated with all the Scandinavian flags.
A walk at the beach where the locals are trying to catch
some fish for the pot.
The beach below the Dionysos hotel.
It's situated to the left behind the ridge.
Having a beer outside in the garden. Too chilly to eat here
at this time of the year.
Inside was decorated with all kind of shells, clams and
fish from the sea. Fascinating.
A roof detail. It was really amazing what they managed to
hang up there.
And in honor of us Norwegians, we got our
flag on the table. Nice touch.
Then back to our hotel. This is the entrance and the picture
is taken towards the sea.
To light up the night, the trees
at our hotel had lights wrapped around them.
And this is what it looks like at night. Spectacular.
The next day, May 5th,
we rented a car and traveled around the island of Rhodes.
