Summing it all up.

Another day at the dentist's and a lovely day at Coco beach. Martin swam 2000 meters in the lovely warm sea.

To the left, always small shops selling clothing. How they survive, Martin cannot figure out. This one is just outside his hotel.

To the right, back at the dentist's office, Martin always get fascinated by excavating by hand. In April 2008, they may be finished. Martin will check.

They are getting there.

They found the old concrete foundation of the old building tore down.

In the Pinto's office, the Christmas tree is still glittering with fiber optics. Martin wants one.

Martin's ugly mug before the front tooth comes on. The new bridgework can hardly be seen. But it's there.

On the road to Coco beach, a lovely beach where you can swim a lot. Very little waves. Martin swam 2000 meters this day.

The flee ridden dogs are all over the place. Why don't they sere dog meat as a delicatessen as the Chinese do?

Martin and Suren having a laugh in the shack before some serious tanning.

The temperature in the shade was a hefty 40 degree Centigrade. But because of the breeze from the sea, it didn't feel that hot at all. Great.

Martin with his much sought after thermometer. Ali is getting it at the end.

Suren is watching the lunch catch.

Even the tourist is giving a helping hand, but the the catch was basically rubbish thrown into the sea by everyone. Why they don't clean up their act is a mystery.

In the sun, the temperature was some 50 degrees plus. That's hot, but because of the breeze from the sea, it doesn't feel that hot at all. But back at the hotel, you notice your face got it. After sun lotion is a must.

Coco beach got new mattresses for all the beds. Nice and clean.

Cops always pester small time business men. And demanding bribes. That's a shame. Here you see some of the bribe takers. The shop owners has no option. They have to pay.

On the way back, Martin spotted these fish nets used at the beach.

Close to Martin's hotel, this sign came up. But does it helps?

Building sites always fascinates Martin. This is one very close to his hotel.

The next day, Saturday January 5th, it was time for a boat trip of a different kind, snorkeling.
