Back to start.
Snorkelling is always fun and this day had a little bit too much excitement
since Martin got lost on the reef and ended up in the wrong boat.
To the left, at Empire Triton hotel, they had this kiddi
stuff. Martin was waiting for his bus to arrive.
To the
right, on to the beach. It was some 800 meters to the harbour from the
parking lot.
Map over this area. It was big.
And so was
the restaurants.
Sea view. To where we were heading.
Boarding
our ship. Ours was The Queen, no 3 from the left.
Martin has settled down on the boat.
The
view of the shore from our boat.
They were busy fixing up the boat next door.
The diving gear drawn by a donkey is coming on the next door neighbour, a
diving ship.
All the boats left behind.

Martin and the captain at the helm.

Sand terraces. What they are for, nobody knew.
More of the same kind. Must have a purpose of kinds.
Skeleton houses. You find them all over the place in
Hurghada and the surroundings. Why, is everyone's guess.
The
reef where Martin got lost. Walked over the reef to get to the sea and tore
up his foot soles. Then swam back and ended up in the wrong boat after more
or less two hours in the sea.
The divers have their on transport.
Snorkelling is great fun.
A local fishing boat bringing home the catch of the day.
